Stone Grill @ Mosaic , Hyatt

These are overdue photos which taken a week ago, during creamy's celebration.
I am very exhausted for the pass few days, I don't feel to go into my kitchen at all ! everyday when I'm home, bathroom + bedroom are my favourite place ! ahead to have quick shower + sleep! so tired until i can sleep from 7 pm !!! until the next morning.

Here's a nice treat by creamy's ma ma & pa pa ( TQ TQ TQ) at Mosaic, we had rosemary grill chicken & stone grill salmon. Look at the Greens on the above ! Love it ! good balsamic sauce + fresh crisp green! Both Red pepper & Alfalfa are very sweet.

Sundried tomato bread I guess? I dunno, I didnt eat this, Uncle Alfred just love it soo much ! I'm sure it tastes so good until he will say , I havent had bread in ages !

We called it " Toyota" hash brown. ! Nice, crispy ! ( dont tell me Hyatt using RM 2 recycle oil here)

Rosemary grill chicken chop. The chicken!! where is the feedback form here?! I need to lodge a huge complain about the chicken! If you're hotelier from Hyatt, write me!

you grill your own food, serve it with sauces . The fish taste fresh & hot ! not bad, can have second try on other meat ....

First of all, Happy Birthday to my Big Creamy ! she is... panda lah in short;p I cannot resists from not posting our picture 2 years ago. Panda used to have curly bomb hair! While I m with my long hair. Time flies so fast!! and when I look at our Rumba picture taken in 2008! I was like, isnt it that picture we just took 2 weeks ago only ? argh!

Last year we pig-out at Rumba, Le Meridien

for creamy birthday celebration. This year! we went to Man Tian Xia at Api-Api Centre ( located at the back of MAA building) .


We had mixed roast , vege & pork with salted fish.

The place is very clean & I guess the price is quite reasonable too.

We still need to find place to kill our sweet tooth! We met up with creamy's parents at Mosaic. ( ah! another post on Mosaic newly launched stone grill menu)

Halo Cafe, Citymall

I just had dinner at Halo cafe, with my sis & aunt. Quite a nice place for early bird! hahah, we arrived at 7pm, and we are the first customer. U dont have to pack with smokers, and best is, the band hasnt started yet! "Hurray"! So it was quite cozy around that time.

The drinks are quite good in the cafe. Food wise, more suitable for teenager's [tongue]
My fried rice with salted fish was perfectly matches its name! "salted" enuff. but it's quite 'wangi' the fried rice!lolz , sis chicken chop was so-so according to her.

I will come back again for its beverage ! ; )

Not much shops around, however this little cafe caught our attention. ;)

If there 's another time of this week I go Le Meridien again, I shall call myself meridien-ing here! eyeuewww !

Collqs having buffet, I 'm scared of over-eating lately. I been eating since monday until today! I mean eating good meal! and my tummy revealing good round shape too !

Grilled Salmon with apple & walnut sauce. Hey Terri! I just realised we ordered the same ! Is that the best item we can pick from the not-so-attractive menu? haha!

The fish is just okay la. Pan fried frozen salmon mah, normal la, just nice, I mean we can even do it at home too. I like the buttered Vege! hahaha, quite Sweet & tangy !

I worked in Hotel b4. I knew how the costing like. They usually marked up by at least 50% and above! and based on this plate of salmon, at least they earned 65% !! !!!

Salmon = $10 ( if u buy from supermarket, like Tong Hing, let say. If u buy from supplier? I think $7 also can !)
mixed vege (considering I only eat 2cm per each item) = $ 2
diced apples (also considering only few cubes on my plate) = 30 cents
walnuts ( also another 1 walnut break into pieces) = $ 1
butter & cooking oil = $ 2
gas = $2.70

Total cost = RM 18 nett
but hotel charges at RM 46 nett

Rumba , Le Meridien

A cosy environment with ancient roman stone walls at one side. I especially like the arch windows. That's the best solution my compact camera can produce-d . so can't really show my favourite arch-windows! !!

Anyways, back to food. I think we got so hungry until we almost finished the 4-buns!

Seafood Platter $140++ After awhile the order has taken, the lady came and told us our Lobster was out-of-stock, so we shall double the items to compensate it. Oh Gosh! A 5-star hotel dining standard telling us this? and it's like after 20 minutes time? On the menu I saw prices like

1/2 kg marinated chicken = $40 ++

Salmon = $40 ++ per 200 gram

Steak = $60++ per 200 gram

xx = $ 5X++ per 200 gram

By looking at the shocking prices, was thought of a Seafood platter with Lobster, cost that much should be okay, but now u come and say NO LOB, but I give u the off-springs! ;p This is like I order Lamb, but u gimme Mutton! !!! ! ! Even u gimme hundred pieces of mutton, I still dun want! I want lamb . That'a very long-comment i wanted to draw on their "comment card", but limited space ! Anyways..

This is another joke. Farmer Fries $10 , taste 200% like KFC Wedges. but it's yummy!!! with lots of ketchup ! Again! u work in 5-stars dining restaurant, u dunno what is ketchup ?Funny! Educate ur staffs pls !

Appertizer ... some wild salad with fried calamari ring! Hey this is GOOD! A very Good calmari ring I found in KK ! I said " CALAMARI" ring. not "SQUID" ring ! and is FRESH calamari .

Why I said that ? Lots of cafe out there, when they served calamari ring, I was hugely disappointed because they used frozen ring! or they cheat by cutting Squid !
