"These" curry puffs bring lots of surprises!
Last month I tried L's baked curry puff , I liked the fillings ! got chicken, potatoes, & egg! hahahaha (kampung me).. I never eaten curry puff with egg before, and it was really good overall! and was told need further 'experiment' on the puffs. Alrite.. after a month, my tongue started to recall the taste again! As I told L, I wanted to send a little reminder to her to post the recipe (which I didnt, I knew she probably too bz with cakes & whipping cream! ;D)! in fact she did it on the next day! and surprisingly, again last nite, I thought of this puff again! wonder wheN I can taste it! ops, 5 minutes later, L telling she will be sending the puffs in an hour time! wow!!( may be my mind just thinking of food all time! that's why) This is so.. so.. Great!
I reheat these puffs in an oven at 150C for 15 minutes! nice! very nice! the skin is very nice.. very crumb & bit of crispy.. like.. like eating good butter soft cookies! I'm happily eaten 2 puffs without thinking of my waistline. I knew these are healthy puffs! so its ok (roar!!), given 1 to collq, A says good! not too spicy!
I left 1 on the table for mum 's morning coffee break. HOWEVEr, mum was trying to preheat in a microwave, with 15 seconds, and mum told me the puff just exploded like a timebomb in the microwave!!!!!! the whole microwave was covered with the breaking pieces of puffs!!!! so I asked how u eat the puff then? " I collect the pieces and eat bit by bit.." (ROAR)!
