This creamy! she knew I admire her 'NEMO" transparent toilet seat for long already! haha, now I have Dolphins at home ! HO HO HO! and Liangmama even said so that everymorning I can "think" of them when I'm in the toilet !

School Bazaar, KIS

It was a great experience to visit the Kinabalu International School Bazaar on 28 Mar 09!

" Which one is nice ? "
I asked that Qn to the 4 young girls , and... I only remember the four children pointing at the samne chocolate muffins + CJ told me the cookies are good too!

After I paid, the little sweet english girl says " This chocolate muffins are really good" with her thumbs up!
hahaha, look at them! they're so cute !
and I guess the kids never tell lies, the choco M are excellent ! very soft & moist *wink*



Other than that, The burgers are good! good at value too ;D and I love the lagsane! I even asked if I can ask for take-away (with pvc container)! ha ha, the lady reluctantly says "OKAY, but not environmental friendly though".
I had two big slices of that! haha, I like it so much and u wont feel greasy-oily-puke-feeling after a slice! that's because they only layer the cheese on the most top of the pasta! ( ha! I learnt the tips now) as compared to the usual u eat in the restaurant, after the 3rd serving, u feel "errrr" stop.
and they used mince beef,tomatoes,mushroom, carrots! erm! I must make this one day.

Well, the bazaar sells lots of 2nd hand books & hand made jewellery! I bought one from a Korean Lady. very prettyee ;p

Lazy weekend

I m been lazy since... January ? I hardly post a recipe online, I still eat like usual , I just..errr....

I want to make pineapple fried rice, but, no gaya street today. Want to make chicken pie (inspired by creamy), but lazy, want to make cheesecake ( i have cream cheese in fridge), but lazy... !!!

We I ( I don't know u guys, but I do) have lots of fun last nite! Lolz! the 3 ladies in the photo should know! hahahahhaha ;p~ I should have taken picture with " Heavy Hand" rite!

Wedding Trick or Treat?

" Trick or Treat Ang Pao ? " shouted the bridesmaid
I think this is a must game for nowadays wedding couple. The bride's side so-called sisterss will fool the groom's buddies before the groom able to meet his prettiest wife on the wedding day!

We, the bridesmaid, normally would demand for Ang Pao (red packet filled with lots of money, given by the groom)... as a under-table-money kind of treat. so Once we sisters (bridesmaid) received the Ang pao, we will allow the groom to see his princess! (anyways, there'a always a thing called "Gate-Crashed"!!!! like this case.

(OUCH! It's Pain!) - Ha, this is the punishment from not getting the right answer !
Haha, Tun - The Groom , was being thrown with lots of Questions, if you got it wrong, we have to clip his ears and pull from far. It's really painful though.

This is the most hilarious game. The Groomsmen has no choice but to help Tun for this time. Fruits are tide up with string along the men's waist, they have to swing it, and the one knee down has to catch the fruit and bite it!

"6 Random things about myself" ...( R u ready?)

1. I am a straight-forward person. I don't give a damn to people that I totally pissed off with! i.e. no talk no contact from me. I can be the sweetest person too. (depends)

2. I like round shapes than others. HA! That could also explain why I like egg. and my principle is the rounder the better! No diets!

3. I used to have problems with 'swallowing' pills/tablets. I remember my dad & mum, dad grab my hands , mum forcefully open my mouth and drop pills in my throat and drown me with water! (cry!) .. another method is, cut the banana into cubes, sip the pill (especially flu tablets / panadols ) in the banana, and I swallow the whole chunk of banana! that's really how I 'ate' my sick pills! I really had bad times with that! Didn't know until when I can steadily taking all pills with water already! ;)

4. I am the daring type that Going-after guys tt I like! :) my frens will know that! HA HA HA! I believe that 'Xin-fu' is grab by your hands one! ( means U grab your own opportunity, ur happpiness!)

5. I don't eat dim sum that make with pork! I will spill out! (means, I only eat halal dim sum ) Plus I dont eat chicken drumstick , the most yuck-i-ness part of the chicken for me! because of the chicken smell + the flesh is too silky smooth ( errrkk..)

6. I am a lingerie fetish. :D I am still collecting that! ( lately no more posts on tat is bcuz I slowly turn this to solely food blog only :)

Why ? Why spiral shape ?

I have a question to kill ! Why people need a wooden stick , spiral shape around its head to take the honey? Why don't just use a spoon ?and why spiral shape ???

My colleague helps me to do some research, and got me the answers !

1) If you're speaking of the kind of honey dipper that has grooves in it, its advantage over a spoon is that it is less likely to drip. Thehoney wraps around it as you twirl it, and it's less messy than using a spoon.

2)The grooves allow the honey (with a high surface tension) to be pulled in while they are horizontal, but flow out when they are vertical. I've seen both plastic and wood, so I would guess there is no particular advantage to the material, other that what is cheap to make.

Now It does make some sense to me or, I shouldn't have 2nd thought on people's innovative design?! (grin) ...

He was so excited with my eyelash curler ! He came and get me to 'clip' for him ! What a boy!
He came and reported to me tt, he has a gf in school, named Christy! He is only 4 yr ++ boy !
While I was talking to my fren on the phone a moment ago, He came and give me a tight hug and kiss me! *how sweet* or trying to Bok Mong here!?

Sweet Potatoes

When mum cooks her Fan Shu (Sweet Potato) in a pot of water..
me: ha??? why u cook ur fan shu with so much water?
mum: u R really fan shu!! (means u're dumb in chinese) cook fan shu also dunno

I wasn't sure why I ask mom that Qn that night. Now I recall! because we always 'steam' our fresh corn and been many nights mum steaming her corns and suddenly that night she cooked sweet potatoes! that's why! I assume she did it the same way to her potatoes! (lolz)

yeah, mom boiled them in a water for..err.. ( dunno how long), then when they turned soft, mom will throw all the water away, and let the potatoes sit in the pot and turn on fire to 'dry' the potatoes for 30 seconds.

and, if u realise, mum used 'rice cooker' to boil her potatoes on the stove! when I'm took this pic , she was emphasizing, later ur frens will start laughing at u, that u use rice cooker for boiling fan shu! u must explain to them this is an un-used old rice cooker.

This is a yellow flesh potato! Quite starchy. I was told by someone, the more 'starchy' the potato is, the more 'wind/gas' ur stomach creates.

I still remember the older days, we bbq our sweet potato during winter times in Bris! we fork the potatoes with many holes , wrap them in aluminium paper, and grill them! very yummy! The taste are so much better them u boil them.

5:45pm in the evening...

That little evil boy is always mistakenly known by ppl as my son, or my dad's grandchild! "ROAR"! He is my uncle's only gold in the house. He is Seng Seng boy. A boy that either u love or u abhor.

My dad, My dad gave me a fabulous rare name that no one in this world will have it, unless it's an error. He proudly structure my middle name as "kok Tng'. TNG !!!!!!! With this name, I have to answer my teachers for the past 12 years in my school! Why my name was spell incorrectly? It is not okay! that is my name! until this hard-headed teacher get me to show her my birth-cert! ! and most teachers cannot pronounce my name too! They always stuck with my 3rd name. Dad says if I put "tIng"...sounds" ding ding ding"... and dad is a cantonese.. so 'ting' in cantonese pronounciation should be "TNG" (according to is theory)... so for him to pronounce Tng in cantonese, he taken out the 'i' and leave the 3 alphabets stand.
until now, I m still thinking, may be he didnt realise we have '" e'" here!" Teng" also can maarrrr...... (speechless...)

He has 3 daughters in the house. me the 1st princess! he always has this dream that the 3 dots of him can become a well-known accountant one day! too bad, the first two has destroyed his dream! (lolz) now the only last, whom in form 3, knowing her, I think she wont fulfill dad's dream neither. Dad always think that I'm a quiet lady in the office. he always complain I dont do much talking! (dad is under-estimating me...) I'm probably the most-loud person in the office. I talk more than I work! ahhahahhaha ;p~
and...mum starts worrying about me, because I m 28 soon in December! and I'm not married yet to her. Everytime when she starts looking into Feng shui book on my relationship luck, I will tell her straight to her face that, I will only married by 40. and she will roll her eyes at me, and dad starts laughing at the corner.
It's 5:45 pm.. I am shooting mom' flowers outside the house, while dad quickly said Ah Tng, take a picture of us.

Something New..

my new gadget. I have lots of 'wish-lists'. I want a turbo fan Oven... a stand mixer.. etc. Camera is very very top urgent here.

my daddy works for FujiFilm . However, he suggested to go for Canon or Nikon. Told my dad I really need a Dslr camera + my limited budget. Here you go! Nikon D60. He says this is sufficient for you to shoot your plate of food in front of you! (how ironic!) Which is true. 98% I shoot food picture. 2% I shoot Ben! (Lolz)

The owner of the shop says D90 sell like hot cakes!! Today arrived, tomolo all gone! (see, lots of crazies in KK) Anyways.. Shame of me - the new kid on the block, I don't know how to use this cam! I need a month time to study the manual.

oh ! a single macro lenz cost RM 2000++ crazie!!! I don't need that of cuz. 2K can get a stand mixer already. (RoAR)~

Lunch - Beans, corn, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, carrot & tuna

Dinner - Broccoli, carrot, tomato, zucchini, green beans

I almost yelled at this honey sweetie friend of mine! ur stomach has to process 15 items per day. ;p

my 2 marks are given to ur effort on decorating the surface, and 1 mark to ur waiteress carry that cup for me.

Yes, i worked as a little not-so-qualified barister coffee maker before (yes, 7-6 yrs ago). That was the time I enjoyed making coffee-foam the most! U know, the steam nozzle? Yes, dip it in ur milk, and foam the thick milk froth for cup of niceee cappuccino. Then my manager, hA! I still rember him! he is Jason. Young chap graduated from London from Legal studies! he ! every time tested our milk-foam stability by putting a stirrer on the foam! If the foam manage to hold the stirrer without fall, then he will say okay Pass! Anyways.. I always make good milk froth bcuz he is a very smart good looking guy! I can't fail infront of a Hunk! ;D
